This is extremely scary: Naomi Klein writes about the neo-McCarthyist silencing and harrassing of NGOs that refuse to operate as "an arm of the US government". Apparently some pundits close to power have begun to whip up fear against NGOs because they are "unelected" and "only accountable to their supporters".
